I love my iPhone!

I’ve had my iPhone active for a little over a week now, and I must say that I’ve completely fallen in love with it! Except for the poor battery, which I am certain could have been a lot better, everything is great so far.

This post is really just to test out the wordpress app, so I unfortunately don’t have much more to say! Have a great weekend, and expect another post concerning Silent Sound Waves.

Oh and if there’s a photo here, it’s just to see how the wp-app handles them :)

Nothing special at all

So it is 9AM and here I am at the University, with nothing to do. Had a lecture scheduled to start at eight, but it got cancelled, so right now I’m just surfing around the web and wasting time. I have no litterature from the curriculum yet as they have yet to arrive at campus, and I thought what could be better than to write a little update at my blog for all of my loyal readers to read?

These days it seems that everything in my life is actually moving in slow motion, and while I am at “normal speed”, there is nothing I can do but be patient and wait for everything to fall into place. Why the philosophical approach to life today? Not sure honestly, it just feels like this is the time to be patient for me, instead of trying to be on top and controlling every little aspect.

As you may know if you follow me on Twitter, my recently purchased car is not running as well as one had hoped for. It’s got an appointment with the car doctor tomorrow, and it’ll be “interesting” to see how far getting it fixed will set me back. Purchasing and owning a car is expensive enough as it is here in Norway, and adding outrageous prices for parts and mechanic-hours can do serious damage to a student. I’ll know soon enough though, and I’ll get it sorted one way or another, so I’m not spending too much time worrying.

Another thing that happened recently is that my MacBook recently got an unfortunate case of the cracks. No worries though, I talked to Apple Support and they’ll cover it even though I don’t have AppleCare. Unfortunately there is no service for Apple here in the town that I live in, which means I’ll have to send my dear away, and I’m a little hesitant about it. It will leave me computerless for a couple of weeks most likely, which is never fun, especially as I am eager to really get working on Silent Sound Waves. I have wasted enough time however, and I guess I’ll be sending it off tomorrow so that I can get it back as soon as possible.

Other than that there’s not a whole lot of exciting things going on at the moment. I was at a festival this weekend and got to see Amy MacDonald and Travis live. They both put on a great show, and I must admit I was positively taken by suprise by Amy’s appearance. A beautiful girl with a fantastic voice no doubt! In less than three weeks I am going to see Coldplay live for the first time as well, and I am completely stoked about it, and I really hope I can have my Macbook back by the time so I can report on the concert while it is still a fresh feeling, because those feelings are really what music is all about, aren’t they?

Anyways that’s it for now. Going to grab a bite to eat and see if I can’t find someone to hang out with so that when I go home later instead of now, I can feel like I’ve done something with the day as I’ve been spending it at Uni instead of home!
