Archives for the month of: October, 2009

I spent the night catching up on House, and I was pleased to find that this show still has all the ingredients that got me hooked in the first place. This is contrary to a couple of other shows I’ve been following for quite some time but have decided to ditch after the season opening.

Heroes has in my opinion been going slowly downhill since the first season with the occasional good episode in between, but after the first episode of season four I am no longer watching. One Tree Hill is another show I’ve been watching for years, and quite frankly I don’t even know why. The first couple of seasons were great, but I’ve kept watching just to keep up with it, but after the nice ending to season six I don’t know why I even bothered to watch the first episode of the new one?

I also decided to check out some new music today, with Pedro The Lion being the highlight so far. I’ve seen the band name being dropped in lots of discussions pertaining to artists that I appreciate, and I finally got around to checking out one of the albums (It’s Hard To Find A Friend). The style of the music is very appealing to me at this time of year, and I really like what I am hearing so far when it comes to lyrics as well. Check it out!

google wave logoGoogle have finally started sending out invites to Google Wave, but I haven’t gotten one yet. This is my cry for help, if you have one to spare, please send one my way. E-mail address is of course blog (a) lars-christian (dot) com.

If you have no idea what all the fuzz is about, this post over at Mashable will give you a good introduction. Also according to Mashable, this site has been setup to speed up distribution of invites, but it is of course down at the moment. Signing up for an invite over there once it comes back up might be a good idea for all of you looking for invites!
