@lars For me, the main criterion is signal/noise ratio. My Fediverse network is pretty good on that front.
I remember having a decent RSS network back in the c. 2007 Google Reader days, but haven’t managed to get back to that since.
In other words, I rely on the Fediverse as a source of good blog posts etc. I tend to bookmark posts pointing to longer blog posts etc. and read them when convenient.
