Running pace calculators
To my dismay, I noticed recently that the pace calculators over at Run161 had stopped working.
What happened was that, when I converted it from Wordpress into a static site, I moved over all the output of the Wordpress conversion. These little calculators were actually just small Javascript snippets (based on the original and almost legendary Coolrunning Pace Calculator) that lived in plain HTML files. I used an iframe tag to include them on the corresponding Wordpress pages. (Where there's a will, there's a way, even if knowledge might be limited!)
Of course, I'd forgotten to upload these pages. I've done that not, and the Running Pace Calculator and Metric and Imperial are now functional once more.
Back when I had Google Analytics running on the site, these pages each got hundreds of visits every month, so I apologise to anyone who might have tried to make use of the calculators.
That search field up in the header, though...
I really should spend some time and redo the site in a proper way at some point. One more entry in todo.md!
