Harry Potter day!
Big day today. Seven and a half years after he was born, the boy and I finally started reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone tonight.
Never read the Harry Potter books on my own. All the more rewarding to get to do so the first time around with one of my children. And you can be sure I'll be doing a re-read a couple of years from now, when the girl comes of age and has been through the required preliminary material to get her primed and ready as well!
