Why do you even blog?
There's this blog post by Andy making the rounds in my circles of the web. It's not Why Blog If Nobody Reads It? but I enjoyed it nevertheless:
Nobody cares.
But that’s not why you did it. You did it because you saw something.
Like blogging. You write because you think, because you observe, because you need to put it somewhere.
If someone reads it? Bonus. If not? The work still got done.
And that’s the real point.
Andy gets it. But I think he likes to spark a little controversy, too :) Which can be a good thing!
Update: Looks like Andy stoked up a little too much controversy for his own tastes. His blog is now down. Either way, I think this particular post was stellar, and worth a read. So use the Wayback Machine to check it out, if you're so inclined.
