Home baked pizza
In-laws got me a new pizza oven for my birthday.
Took it for a spin yesterday. Was not disappointed.
On recommendation from my father-in-law, I baked the doughs with a mix of tipo-00 and Manitoba flour. No oil. Apparently means less burning in the hot temps of a pizza oven.
Topping was plain with plain crushed tomatoes, salted and reduced, as the sauce. Threw on regular gouda and mozzarella cheese and sprinkled tiny strips of bacon to top it off.
Was absolutely delicious. Been hankering for another today!
