Job Search - Part One

Ironically enough, considering my most recent post was about the hassles of hiring people, this post will be about my ongoing search for a part time job. Ideally I would currently be at a stage where I would have enough (profitable) projects online to support me, but seeing how I’m currently not even close, this calls for getting another part time job.

I have spent most of tonight working on a few applications for a couple of jobs that I’ve found interesting that were advertised, and I’m pretty happy with the end result. This job search has really been a long-time-coming, so my CV is already sitting and waiting to be used, and it looks great if I might say so myself. Hopefully these two in conjunction will get me through the loophole for at least one or two of the jobs, and if they do, I’m pretty confident about my talking and people skills, so a possible interview part should at least not weaken my possibilities of getting a job.

Getting a job at this point is pretty essential for me, seeing how if I don’t get a steady income to supplement my scholarship I will soon be hit with a cease and desist order from several parties when the day comes that I’m not able to pay my bills anymore. So wish me luck! I’ll be sure to keep you updated.

And now for something completely different. The person I hired to do the coding of the design for my latest project showed me the initial draft today, and it is starting to look good. I pointed out a few erroneous parts that has to be fixed, but all in all I am comfident that we can have it all ready to go pretty soon, even thought I’m sure Murphy wants a say in the matter as well.
