Well, well, well

And just for the sake of it, “WELL”. It’s been “fun” weeks these past two or three or so, but also somewhat frustrating. I’ve moved and I don’t have full internet access, because of a encryption thing thing, but thankfully my new landlord comes home one of these days (pretty soon I think), and then I should get back for full (and even have access to MSN, and IRC etc, hurrah).

So anyways for now, I thought I’d just amuse you all with some nice quotes I was reading through and becoming somewhat inspired by.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. ~Ambrose Redmoon

Every man has his own courage, and is betrayed because he seeks in himself the courage of other persons. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional. ~M. Kathleen Casey

The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief. ~William Shakespeare, Othello

Everybody should believe in something; I believe I’ll have another drink. ~Author Unknown

One martini is all right. Two are too many, and three are not enough. ~James Thurber

You don’t love a woman because she is beautiful, she is beautiful because you love her. ~Author Unknown

Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. ~Charles Richards

Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today. ~James Dean

Charm is the quality in others that makes us more satisfied with ourselves. ~Henri Frédéric Amiel

The simple lack of her is more to me than others’ presence. ~Edward Thomas

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn’t know that so it goes on flying anyway. ~Mary Kay Ash

Dreams are illustrations… from the book your soul is writing about you. ~Marsha Norman

and I’ll end with a true classic:

If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn’t, it’s that girls should stick to girls’ sports, such as hot oil wrestling, foxy boxing, and such and such. ~Homer Simpson, The Simpsons
